Common Mistakes
- خلط زمن الماضي البسيط مع الماضي المستمر – يكتب الطالب “Santiago fought the fish” بدلاً من “Santiago was fighting the fish” عندما يريد إظهار الاستمرارية.
- استخدام “was” مع جمع – “His hands were swollen” صحيحة، لكن بعض الطلاب يكتبون “His hands was swollen”.
- إهمال حرف الجر بعد “braced” – الصيغة الصحيحة “braced his feet against the board”.
- إهمال الفعل المساعد “would” في الجمل المستقبلية داخل الماضي – “They will come” يجب أن تُستبدل بـ “They would come” إذا كان في سياق الماضي.
